Measurements:

  • tomato juice icon
    200 ml tomato juice
  • vodka icon
    30 ml vodka
  • sugar syrup icon
    15 ml sugar syrup
  • fresh lemon juice icon
    1 tsp fresh lemon juice

    plus extra for garnish

  • Worcestershire sauce icon
    ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • coarse salt icon
    ½ tsp coarse salt
  • freshly ground black pepper icon
    Freshly ground black pepper

    to season

  • drop Tabasco sauce icon
    4 drops Tabasco sauce

    or to taste

  • shot cold espresso icon
    1 shot cold espresso
  • celery salt icon
    Celery salt

    to garnish

Instructions

  • 1Place the tomato juice, vodka, sugar syrup, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce in a measuring jug and stir to combine. Season with salt, pepper and Tabasco sauce, then stir in the cold espresso.
  • 2Dip the rim of a short serving glass in the extra lemon juice and then celery salt. Fill with ice and lemon slices, then pour over the coffee mixture. Garnish with shaved celery to serve.
