Essential Olive Tapenade
The Sage Food Processor transforms the humble olive into a tangy dip, full of Mediterranean flavour. Serve with warm baguette, add it to a cheese platter or swirl through hot spaghetti.

Measurements:
75 g pitted black olives
75 g pitted Kalamata olives
2 tbsp drained capers
4 anchovy fillets
1 clove garlicpeeled
¼ long red chilliseeds removed
1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
Freshly ground black pepperto season
Instructions
- 1Carefully assemble the processor with the grey spindle and green S-blade in the bowl. Add all the ingredients and process until finely chopped, scraping down the side occasionally.
- 2Pop your tapenade in an airtight container and it will happily sit in the fridge for a week. While it’s the classy little-black-dress of appetiser land, you can use it anywhere you want a hit of olive deliciousness. Spread on crostini, add to sandwiches or use in a salad dressing. Use to fill stuffed mushrooms, on pizza or swirl through hot pasta and rice.
