  • pitted black olives icon
    75 g pitted black olives
  • pitted Kalamata olives icon
    75 g pitted Kalamata olives
  • drained capers icon
    2 tbsp drained capers
  • anchovy fillet icon
    4 anchovy fillets
  • clove garlic icon
    1 clove garlic

    peeled

  • long red chilli icon
    ¼ long red chilli

    seeds removed

  • extra-virgin olive oil icon
    1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • freshly ground black pepper icon
    Freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • 1Carefully assemble the processor with the grey spindle and green S-blade in the bowl. Add all the ingredients and process until finely chopped, scraping down the side occasionally.
  • 2Pop your tapenade in an airtight container and it will happily sit in the fridge for a week. While it’s the classy little-black-dress of appetiser land, you can use it anywhere you want a hit of olive deliciousness. Spread on crostini, add to sandwiches or use in a salad dressing. Use to fill stuffed mushrooms, on pizza or swirl through hot pasta and rice.
