Updated: 15 February 2026

1. About this voluntary 2-year Manufacturer´s Guarantee

Sage Appliances GmbH hereinafter referred to as “Sage”, and our Affiliates including but not limited to the brands Baratza, Beanz, ChefSteps, Lelit, Sage Commercial and others (collectively “Sage,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides this Manufacturer’s Guarantee for Sage products.

This Manufacturer’s Guarantee is a voluntary guarantee provided in addition to your statutory rights. Your legal rights stay the same. You are entitled by law to remedies from the seller free of charge in the event that products are not compliant, and those remedies are not affected by this Guarantee.

2. What is covered

This Manufacturer’s Guarantee covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal, intended use of the product within the applicable Guarantee period.

If a defect covered by this Guarantee arises, Sage will, at its sole discretion:

If a product is replaced, the original Guarantee period continues from the original purchase date and is not extended.

3. Duration of coverage

Unless otherwise stated, this Manufacturer’s Guarantee applies for 2 years from the date of original purchase.

Some products or specific components may have a shorter or longer Guarantee period. Where applicable, the relevant Guarantee period will be clearly stated on the product packaging, product documentation, or on the Sage website.

8. How to obtain service under this Manufacturer’s Guarantee

To submit a claim under this Manufacturer’s Guarantee, you must contact Sage Customer Support directly.

Service under this Manufacturer’s Guarantee is provided exclusively by Sage and is not available through retailers.

Cross-border service: Guarantee service is normally provided in the country where the product was originally purchased. For repair or replacement requested outside the country of purchase, please contact Sage Customer Support; Sage may, at its sole discretion, offer service subject to additional terms, costs, and processing times.

If you have already initiated a seller or retailer remediation process, please continue with that process as we cannot process duplicate claims for the same defect. This does not affect your legal rights against the seller. To receive service under this Guarantee:

  1. Record the product model number and serial number. These are typically located on a label or moulded into the product housing, often underneath or on the back of the product.
  2. Keep the original or a copy of the sales receipt as proof of purchase.
  3. Contact Sage Customer Support through our website.
  4. If the product qualifies for repair or replacement, Sage will issue a case number and provide a pre-paid shipping label by email. Products returned without prior approval or without using the provided shipping label will not be accepted.
  5. Upon receipt of the product, Sage will repair or replace the defective product or part or contact you with further information. Typical processing time is up to 15 business days, plus shipping time, depending on location and the nature of the claim.
  6. For protection during transport, Sage may provide packaging instructions. Sage is not liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging.
  7. If the product includes accessories, only the defective product or part will be repaired or replaced.
  8. A product may be considered Dead on Arrival (DOA) if it shows a failure preventing basic operation when first used after opening the box. If you believe your product is DOA, please contact Sage within 30 calendar days of delivery. Sage will assess the claim at its sole discretion and arrange return and replacement where applicable.

9. Liability and legal rights

This Manufacturer’s Guarantee is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights. In addition, for goods purchased online from our Sage web shop, consumers have certain rights to withdraw their purchases.

Nothing in this Guarantee limits or excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful under applicable law. This does not limit liability for death/personal injury caused by negligence or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, Sage is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the product.
