1. Clean the filter basket (See video below) 

• • Stop Juicing and unplug the juicer.  

• • Once the motor has stopped, disassemble the juicer. 

• • Remove the stainless-steel filter basket and thoroughly clean the mesh walls with the cleaning brush (see video below for a visual). 

• • Rinse the filter basket under hot water  

1. • If the fine mesh holes of the filter basket are blocked, soak the filter basket in hot water with 10% lemon juice (about 1/4 cup per quart of water) or wash the filter basket in the top rack of the dishwasher.
     

   • You should be able to see through the mesh walls when they are held up to light. If you can't see through the mesh and cleaning has not changed this, please reach out to us for assistance or find a new filter basket here
     
     

2. Press down on the pusher with less pressure, and more slowly. This especially helps when juice is spraying out, or the juicer is leaking. 
   
   
3. If your juicer has speed options, please confirm that you use the correct speed for the food you are juicing. Speed charts are in your juicer's manual. If you need a new manual, you can download one on the juicers product page on Sageappliances.com, search here in the FAQs, or reach out to our support team. 
   
   
4.  Juice harder, more fibrous foods (like celery and ginger) last in your juicing order, since they have more stringy fibers that can clog up the mesh holes more quickly, and allow less juice to pass through the filter basket. 
   
   
5. Ensure that the filter basket is thoroughly cleaned after each use.
