Ingredients: 2 x 400 g can whole peeled tomatoes; 3 tsp extra-virgin olive oil; 3 cloves garlic - crushed; 1 tsp dried oregano; 1 tsp Coarse salt; Pinch dried chilli flakes - optional

Crazy-simple and ready in a couple of minutes. It’s the perfect pizza sauce, but also great with pasta, steak and parmigiana.

Measurements:

2 x 400 g can whole peeled tomatoes
3 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
3 cloves garlic
crushed
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp Coarse salt
Pinch dried chilli flakes

Instructions

Place the tomatoes, oil, garlic, oregano, salt and chilli flakes (if using), in a large jug. Process with an immersion blender until smooth.
Tip: Sauce can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or frozen for up to 3 months.
