By adjusting the settings on your Dual Boiler™, you can customise your coffee journey to your unique lifestyle and taste. Let us take you through how it's done.

How to change settings

The Dual Boiler™ features twin boilers, and allows home-baristas to create perfect espresso extractions – but as with any art, practice makes perfect. To pour a perfect extraction every time, it’s important to fine-tune your shot settings. In this guide we focus on three important customisations: shot volume, temperature and duration.

How to adjust shot volume, duration and temperature

You’ve seen countless baristas tamp and trim espresso before making your coffee – and now you're able to do it yourself! We illustrate how tamping subjects espresso to just the right pressure levels, allowing for an evenly distributed grind and better absorption.

How to tamp and trim the dose

Your Dual Boiler™ includes a high-grade milk steamer, which can be used to create café-quality perfectly textured milk for speciality drinks and beautiful latte art. Once you get more familiar with your machine, adjust the steam temperature to suit your taste and preferences by watching this guide.

How to adjust the steam temperature

If you ever want to override the customisations you've made to your machine and make a fresh start, it's easy to reset the Dual Boiler™ back to its factory defaults.
