It’s time to learn how to program your machine to customise your favourite drinks exactly the way you like them, just like your favourite barista would.

How to customise and save a drink selection

Did you know that different types of coffee beans require different temperatures to best extract their full flavours? Professional baristas know this, and so does your Barista Touch™. You can adjust the temperature of your brewing with just a few taps of your finger.

How to adjust the brew temperature

Various milk types and milk alternatives will require a different temperature to be perfectly textured. You can adjust and personalise your taste and preferences with the Barista Touch™.

How to adjust milk temperature and texture

The Barista Touch™ gives you the power to create luxurious, third wave speciality coffee in your own home. However, making perfectly extracted espresso or ideally textured milk is not enough. You want to be able to customise your coffee to your specific taste, just like your favourite barista does. We will guide you through how to make these changes.

How to change settings

Sometimes you want a fresh start. Should you ever wish to override all the customisations you've made to your machine so you can start over, it's easy to reset the Barista Touch™ back to its factory defaults. When you reset to factory defaults, all settings changes you have made will be deleted, including all custom drinks.

How to perform a factory reset

Your Barista Touch™ will indicate when a descale cycle is needed. This is when the build up of minials in the machine can effect the taste of your coffee. Your Barista Touch™ will guide you through the cycle, but the process for the Barista series works the same, so you can also follow along to see how it's done.
